Appeal for witnesses following dangerous driving incident near Bridport
Officers investigating an incident of dangerous driving near Bridport are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
At around 8.15pm on Saturday 5 September 2026 it is reported that the driver of a silver Mercedes E350 used his vehicle to collide with a black Ford Ranger that was travelling on the A35 near to Goodens Hill.
The driver of the Mercedes left the area at speed toward Charmouth. There were no reports of any injuries.
The drivers of both vehicles are believed to be known to each other.
Police Constable Abi Snelling, of West Dorset police, said: “I am appealing to anyone who saw the manner of driving of the vehicles around the relevant time to please get in touch.
“If you were driving in the area and may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage, please come forward.”
