Witness and dashcam appeal following collision in Poole

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward as they investigate a road traffic collision in Poole.

Dorset Police received a report at 7.39pm on Monday 22 December 2025 of a collision involving a blue car and a pedestrian at the junction of Ashley Road and Cranbrook Road.

Emergency services attended and the pedestrian was taken to hospital having sustained minor injuries.

Police Constable Rhianna Sly, of Dorset Police, said: “We have been carrying out enquiries into this collision and I am keen to hear from anyone who saw what happened.

“I would also urge anyone who was travelling in the area around the time of the collision to please review any dashcam footage to see if they have captured anything that might assist our enquiries.

“We have not yet been able to speak to the driver of the blue car involved and so I would ask that person to please get in touch with us.”
