Witness appeal following road rage incident in Bournemouth

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward as they investigate a road rage incident in Bournemouth.

It was reported that the victim, a man aged in his 30s, was driving in the area of Richmond Hill at around 3pm on Thursday 14 April 2022 when a red Peugeot pulled out in front of him. The male driver became aggressive and kept braking and swerving across the road. The man in the Peugeot then threw a bottle of out of the window, which smashed the victim’s windscreen, before he drove off in the direction of Cemetery Junction.

Police Community Support Investigator Dan Cammell, of Dorset Police, said: “Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing and I would like to appeal for anyone who witnessed what happened to please contact us.

“I would also like to hear from anyone who may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage.”
