Fail-to-stop road traffic collision in Bournemouth – appeal for information
Officers are appealing for anyone with information to come forward as they investigate a report of a fail-to-stop road traffic collision in Bournemouth.
At around 12.50pm on Sunday 10 December 2023, a collision occurred on the roundabout at the junction of Wellington Road and Charminster Road involving an electric scooter and a car.
The rider of the electric scooter, a man in his 20s, suffered minor injuries to his back, hands and knees.
It was reported that the driver of the vehicle – a silver Mini Cooper – failed to stop at the scene.
Police Constable Lauren Hobkirk, of Bournemouth police, said: “We are continuing to make enquiries into this incident and I am keen for anyone with information who has not already contacted police to please come forward.
“I would urge anyone who was driving in the area with dashcam fitted to their vehicle to please review their footage for anything that might assist our enquiries.”
