Appeal for witnesses following reported fail-to-stop road traffic collision in East Dorset
Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward following a reported fail-to-stop road traffic collision in East Dorset.
Dorset Police received a report at 7.44pm on Saturday 1 March 2025 that a car had collided with a road sign on the A31 at St Leonards, near to the BP Garage.
It was further reported that the vehicle, a blue BMW, had left the scene.
Police Constable Steve Hall, of Dorset Police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries to establish the full circumstances of this collision and I would urge anyone who saw the collision or a blue BMW travelling in the area on the evening of Saturday 1 March 2025 to please get in touch.
“I would also urge anyone who may have captured any relevant dashcam footage to please contact us.”
