Update following reported assault in Wimborne
A man has come forward following a CCTV appeal in relation to a reported assault at a pub in Wimborne.
It was reported that a woman aged in her 40s was assaulted by a man at The Rising Sun in East Street at around 9.15pm on Saturday 26 September 2026.
Following a CCTV appeal in relation to the incident, a man has come forward and is assisting officers with their investigation.
