Witness appeal following reported burglary and criminal damage in Poole
Officers investigating a report of burglary and criminal damage in Poole are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
It was reported that at around 12.20am on Tuesday 15 September 2026 the drive through window at Costa on Safety Drive was smashed and the cash till was stolen from inside.
It was reported the suspect was seen leaving the scene past the Budgens store in Safety Drive towards Coles Miller Solicitors.
He was reported to be wearing a black coat, blue jogging bottoms, black trainers, orange and yellow gloves and a black balaclava.
Following enquiries a 29-year-old man, of Poole, was arrested on suspicion of burglary and criminal damage. He has been released on police bail as further enquiries are carried out.
Police Constable Ollie Chant, of BCP CID, said: “We are continuing to investigate this incident and I am keen to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area, including anyone matching the description given getting into a vehicle.
“I would also ask any motorists who were in the vicinity to please review any dashcam footage to see if they have captured anything that might assist our enquiries.”
